A Zippin-powered store uses smart cameras and shelves. It's important to train and supervise all persons performing store cleaning. If Zippin hardware is not properly handled, the customer experience and store sales could be interrupted.
STORE STATUS GUIDELINES

| If shelf removal is necessary to properly clean, follow these steps. |
3. Clean the area
4. Return product to the shelf, if applicable
5. Shelf sensors must sit flat on all four legs afterwards. Confirm using these steps.
|
Sensors are sensitive to movements like shaking and bumping. This step is important to limit disruption. |
6. Confirm physical SKU quantities match the Shelf Inventory. Manually update if incorrect.
NON-ZIPPIN HARDWARE CLEANING - PROCESS
Examples: Sweeping, mopping
Routine cleaning, such as sweeping, is recommended after shopping hours. During shopping hours, less non-essential interactions with the store improve hardware and processing efficiencies.
