Retailers who change pricing frequently may wish to use the bulk import feature of the SKU Catalog. This process is intended to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of pricing changes.
PROCESS
File creation
1. From the SKU Catalog, export the existing catalog to a CSV file
2. Delete columns N, O and P
3. Replace the header of column M with the word restore. The heading is required, but row responses are optional. Valid responses are 'yes' or 'no.' This field is used to restore an archived SKU.
4. Name the CSV file as "Pricing scheme A" (for example)
5. Make a copy of the file
6. Modify the prices to the second pricing strategy
7. Name the CSV file as "Pricing scheme B" (for example)
File upload
1. From the SKU Catalog, select import
2. Select the file and upload.

Tip: If Column A numbers are shortened, re-format the numbers to text by changing the format of the cell to either 'number' or 'text'. This can be done by selecting the Home menu and changing the drop down field shown here: |
