Planograms can be updated in a bulk update to facilitate large planogram changes to a store. The bulk update feature is useful for frequent changes between different event types or selection changes between different day parts.
Note: The planogram SKUs must first be added to the SKU Catalog
PROCESS
1. Create a CSV sheet with the following column headers:
Tip: Export the existing shelf inventory using the export icon on the top right of the Shelf Inventory dashboard. From this export, all three required headers can be obtained
Note: The quantity entered in the CSV does NOT impact the function of the Zippin AI receipt generation. The quantity uploaded can be accurate or inaccurate - the choice is up to the retailer.
2. From the Shelf Inventory dashboard, click on the bulk upload button
3. Click the Upload file button and it will open a prompt to upload the CSV file that you created. Select continue.
4. Validate that the csv file contains the headers exactly as listed in step 1.
5. The screen will refresh and state 'Successfully validated CSV'. Select continue.
6. Submit to make the desired changes.
7. A confirmation change will appear.
If shelves fail to update, the failure reason will be listed in the Shelf Inventory < Audit Log.
Default product change pending is an expected response on the dashboard. This response indicates that the backend UI has captured the time of the change and will process it, but on a slight delay. The planogram change will update before all carts that take place after the upload.
