Retailers can sell like assorted flavors as a single SKU. This gives the store flexibility to sell a variety of flavors or product types in the same area and maximize product density.
Ex. of an assorted SKU, 'Cutwater mixed drinks - variety'
Requirements
- Products must share the same brand, shape, weight, and price
- The retailer must accept reporting of all units sold under one SKU. Zippin reports will show only one product - the one used in the planogram for that shelf - in the reports.
- The product must be entered into the SKU catalog with an image of each variety
- The SKU Catalog product title should indicate "Product Name - Assorted (or variety)". If a shopper were to check their receipt later, it will be less confusing if it said 'Assorted' than a specific flavor they didn't pick.
