A tax-inclusive pricing scheme is available. This scheme can make it easier for some venues to manage prices and taxes.
Each store will be configured to have prices tax-inclusive or tax-exclusive.
Tax-inclusive: The SKU base price includes all taxes. This is the amount charged to the shopper before any discounts. If there is a tax on the item, the tax amount should be listed in the Zippin dashboard. The tax will be shown in the receipt.
Tax-exclusive: The SKU base price does not include the taxes. If taxes are configured, they will be added on top of the base price and shown in the receipt.
In all cases, the final amount is computed per item in the cart and then aggregated at the cart level.
The SKU Catalog UI indicates if tax-inclusive pricing is enabled for a store.
