Temporary hold signage located at the credit card terminal helps the shopper understand the shopping experience. The default signage sent by Zippin at launch does not list the hold amount because each retailer selects their own hold amount.
Entry Signage Options
To communicate the pre-authorization amount of your store, we recommend replacing (or supplementing) the default signage with one of the following options:

A label can be applied to the terminal screen to indicate the hold amount. The amount of the hold should be indicated on the label.
Additional Signage Options
1. The following signage, applied directly to the exit turnstile, is an alternate recommendation to communicate the temporary hold.
2. The following sign is recommended to be placed in stanchion toppers as an 8.5''x11'.
3. The following sign is available to communicate temporary hold charges to shoppers. The default size is 3''x5''.

Signage, when printed by your local printing company, should be printed 6'' x 4.5'' and die cut as shown below (the image shown is the default signage shipped in the launch kit). Double-sided tape is used to adhere the signage to the CC terminal.
